I also have the Apikol kit and I have had one coil fail in 10,000 miles . I am using the V8 coils with the red top as opposed to the 1.8 cols not sure if it makes a difference. Recently I stopped by my electronic surplus store and picked up some small but densely packed heat sinks which I RTV'd to the coil tops and noticed a difference right away . I will let you know when and if I get another coil failure. The heat sinks cost about a $1 each so it is an easy cheap mod. I need new spark plugs and expect this will again improve preformance/relaibility. Just my .02 , Regards, George
