[s-cars] 964s are generally bad

it depends on where you are.  san francisco bay area tends to be significantly more expensive.

$17k is what my friend paid in sacramento, and he didn't even get many upgrades.  doing the minimum amount would have been a little under $15k.  i was shocked that the shop charged him several thousand dollars just to pull the engine.  i can have an engine swap done in the mustang for $1k.

cool that you're using an ipod for email, by the way.  are you finding a lot of free wi-fi connections?

IMHO 15k is way too much. We usually charge under 10k unless there's  
major bits broken or damaged.
