Getnz,

Yes the voltage regulator arrived promply, packaged well and marked
as made in the USA. Install was quick/easy and it works perfectly in my car, which has an early 93 engine in it.

My S6 has an early 93 engine in it with, the original Bosch voltage regulator was #1 197 311 511 required voltage regulator #09-VRB195MA
which is $5.75.

Varon's S6 (who found holcombdirect.com) required voltage regulator #09-VRB235 which is $20.45.

Now they can also ship via USPS, if several people went together they
might be able to cut down on the shipping cost per regulator.

If you write down the bosch part number which is printed on your
voltage regulator and go to http://www.holcombedirect.com/ at the top
left corner in the search box type in the bosch number for your
voltage regulator. It should come up with the regulator that you need.

Here is a pic of my old regulator, not much brush left!:

Here is a pic of the new Regitar voltage regulator

A comparison photo of the two regulators

I'm very happy with the voltage regulator and have a spare if I or
anyone else needs one in a rush!

HTH
Chris
