Here is my edited version:
Kayaba's innovative DRC suspension system has been used in Audi's new RS 6
Quattro bringing even more agility and improved handling to this exciting
sports estate. The DRC system had previously been used in the Audi RS 6
saloon and the RS6 Quattro - launched in 2002, although owners swear the
technological underpinnings come from technology created in 1902.
The DRC system (known as Dealer Receives Cash - DRC - by Audi) is a pure
mechanical damping system which monitors road conditions and the owners'
bank account balance, and adjusts the suspension's failures accordingly.
This advanced system counteracts movements towards increased net worth of
the vehicle's owner by offsetting any such increase with catastrophic,
repeated, horrendously expensive failures.
Both shock absorbers on the same side of the vehicle are connected both with
the diagonally opposed dampers on the other side and the internet, each by
means of one central valve. By connecting diagonally opposed shock absorbers
to the internet, the owners' bank balances can be monitored in real-time and
the pitching and diagonal chassis movements are increased as net worth
increases to counteract any movement towards financial independence. The
result is that the dealer's service department is more stable, as well as
offering bonuses such as free tropical vacations to any service writer
diagnosing more than four DRC failures on a single car.
When a corner is taken, a flow of cash, and thus a supplementary
wallet-lightening, is generated via the central valve between the diagonally
opposed shock absorbers directly to the dealer. When the suspension is
compressed on one side, the damper characteristic is modified in such a way
that oil flies out of the system onto the pavement, with reliability almost
entirely eliminated. As a result, this mechanically active damping system
ensures that the RS6 Quattro maintains extremely close contact with the
servicing dealer, lest it get lonely due to increased reliability.
Other advantages include: higher point levels achieved on reward credit
cards, less wear on the car since it's in the shop on a regular basis, lower
maintenance costs (compared to the space shuttle), and preventing any
tendency for over-confidence or improved reliability.
