[s-cars] Hydraulic leak good news & bad news

I'd vote for the Jorgen. I'm a pretty hard core car guy and I rebuild many
things but a steering rack is the kind of item that is a real PITA to remove
a second time if you get it wrong. See my posts about getting the "one way"
banjo bolt in the wrong port and doing the rack for a second time! In my
experience Jorgen have good tech support and I've not had to replace one of
their racks a second time.

Happy Hallow's Eve Eve to all.

So I think I finally found where my Silver Avant is bleeding the green
gold.
I check the usual suspects, hoses, reservoir etc to no avail....

Then I looked along the firewall...Hmmm, the passenger side steering
rack boot isnt supposed to be in two pieces and the chrome of the rack
piston shouldn't be exposed, should it?
(that's a rhetorical question btw)

And of course there's a trail of oil directly underneath on the
transmission....

So the questions are:

Rebuild kit from Audi?
Rebuilt rack from Jorgen or other supplier?

Does the replacement have to Servotronic rack even though I removed
the servotronic relay (I don't WANT the servotronic, and barring the
impossible occurring, I plan on keeping the car until it dies...

Also, any BTDTs?

Just to add to the fun I broke a subframe bolt two weeks ago on the
red 90q, the "spare" car when the S6s are down for repair...so I need
to get on that one too....another fun job...
