Bill,
For the fuel line, I think the best 'temporary' fix is to cut out the bad
section and install some heavy duty fuel flexible fuel line with high
quality clamps (ABA, etc.) and cover the section with another protecting
layer of something like shrink tube to keep moisture out.
Of course, I could be wrong, I've been looking at the great array of
sealants available that are impervious to oils and fuels and some Loctite
5970 or similar gasket maker may work for quite a while - if its only pin
holes.
