[s-cars] Sensible Upgrades

Greetings Sean,
      I can't comment on 2Bennet ECUs but the Stage 1 that I purchased from
Pastore was an excellent upgrade. It really turned it into a different car..
I'll list my mods and comment on each one below:

Upgraded ECU - Definitely a must have.

H&R Race springs / Koni Yellow Adjustable struts - If I could do it all over
again, I wouldn't have gotten the race springs for a number of reasons.
First, they snapped after 50k, but secondly, the ride quality just took too
much of a hit and I think it contributed to a slew of other annoyances like
faster tire wear.

Stiffer Wastegate Spring - a cheap upgrade that made a noticeable
difference.

Stromung Exhaust - Definitely increased the fun factor. I feel the car was
smoother in acceleration as well after this mod. Highly recommended.


I've tried other things throughout the years, but these are the ones I felt
made the most difference in my daily driving. I haven't gotten around to
getting an RS2 manifold and while everyone recommends getting one, I just
can't justify the expenditure. My car has been chipped for 5 years and I've
had no issue with the stock manifold.
