[s-cars] V8 into Ur-S6?

food for thought there, i think i'll back off on this one!
I'm based in Europe; my S6 is a 5cyl 20v and i had a sudden thought
because someone i know has a burnt out RS4 (n/a V8, 420HP, REVS TO 8K+

with a low miles engine. "and isn't the new V8 lighter than the old 5
pots, and there's enough space in the engine bay", so i had one of
these "what if" lightbulbs going off ...
someone has done it with an old Esprit though:
