Hi!
Just a follow up message regarding relay possibilities.

Radio Shack p/n 275-0240 a micromini 5v relay solved my amp turn-on
issues. The coil voltage was 5- 6.5 vdc which was perfect but I was
worried if the other side would handle the load.

Been installed for a week with no issues.
HTH someone in the future.

Hi everyone!

I've seen the 3 different write-ups online at s-cars, audiworld, etc.
And they were very helpful, but I'm having an issue...

Sourced and installed the Concert I. I'm having trouble getting the
Bose amps to turn on using the recommended wiring procedure.
Currently, am using switched 12v as the signal for the relay as the
white/black wire isn't sending enough juice to close the relay and
complete the circuit. I'm only measuring 5.5v at startup on this wire.
I'm using a 12v 30a relay from autozone.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there another pin I can get a
switched 12v signal to feed to the relay?
Is my relay the problem, and would a micro relay from radio shack work
better?

It's working the way it is but I have to remember to turn on the radio
BEFORE starting the car or I'm greeted with a horrendous noise from
the amp kicking on!
