Brian,
Two things that come to mind to check:
1. Check and see if the speed sensor is loose, may need to be tapped back into place.
2. It's an awful big coincidence that you are having both of these problems immediately after the brake
upgrade. Is it possible that you cut the speed sensors and "shorted these wires" instead of the brake pad
wear sensor wires.....like another lister did?
