I don't think the issue is the legal aspect.

The point is that if you are going to bad mouth a supplier, do it on
your own experience, not on what you heard.
Would you like if I spouted off on the list about what someone 'told me'
about you?

I don't have any 1st hand knowledge about Shokan, but as with any
supplier I would want real data before making my decision.
