That's certainly not going to make them any friends - makes no sense in
light of what's known and what's at stake.
ECS replaced both my brackets, no questions asked and no apparent cracks, in
July 2007. The question is, for anyone who might consider using ECS in
light of these facts - is what I experienced the new policy or the old
policy?

My father's car also has ECS Stage 3 and it did in fact experience a bracket
failure on the driver side. ECS did replace it at no charge but they would
only do the one side for him. I never understood the logic there and sure
enough the passenger side showed hairline cracks not much later and was then
replaced by ECS. Would have been nicer to just get it all done in the first
place instead of having vehicle down-time twice.
I too would want RS2 brackets.

In the interest of substituting an actual experience - I run ECS Stage 3:
993TT calipers & 322mm rotors/ECS hats/ECS alum brackets. ECS replaced my
original brackets, which were not cracked, with replacements for no charge
and with no hassle. 2 years+ since new brackets. Stops great, no problems.
