I would have thought by now you would have automatically checked for
DTCs and observed the MIL when reporting a no start problem. Review
Scott Mockery's troubleshooting advice here and blink the codes if you
don't have access to VAG-COM:

Wylie's thoughts about the CPS are probably correct, but a fault code to
verify it would be nice before beating the bushes for a replacement.
I think it has been said before on this list that for some reason
teenagers and
s-cars don't seem to mix too well. The reasons are not totally clear.
