[s-cars] S6 no start fun

Well, it's Sunday, but after washing the A4q in the heat and dealing with
another crisis in Peru, I find myself not in the mood to try to blink codes
just yet.
Another point of report...the check engine light came on just as he was
getting to gf's house yesterday. Did not come on when they headed out to
CHik-Fil-A, nor when it fired up and I drove it home. Probably a code to be
pulled...just got to do it. Never blinked them before, but in the absence
of a VAGCOM to borrow, I supposed there's always a first. Should have bought
a VAG-COM long ago, but always just had a work laptop...need to buy my own.
Maybe I'll blink after dinner...
Thanks,
Steve

I'm sure there is a message here, Bob, but I just can't seem to pull
it out.
Is it, "don't bother to check codes because I didn't get one" or maybe
just
"don't pin your hopes on an easy diagnosis"??
My message is "it's Sunday, check codes; what else do you have to keep
you busy?".
Steve, I have a sensor I can part with. Then you could run a group
buy for
a few to get the price reasonable for one to pay me back. ; > )
