My S6's engine has 300,000+ miles on it, never been opened up.
The chassis it's in has over 207,000 miles on it, it had was 180,000 miles 
on it when the original engine (stll running) ws pulled.

So yeah, I think they are pretty reliable....

BUT I plan on rebuilding the engine that came out of the S6 and swapping
it back in as I drive back n forth from Kalamazoo to Toledo 2-3 times per week.
