I have the lower density 034 mounts and love them. Well-controlled movement, not excessive vibration. Friend of mine had the higher density ones on his A4 and I liked those as well when I happened to drive it but not sure I could tolerate them every single day.
-Cheers!

Subject: [s-cars] engine mounts
gathering parts in preparation for Stromung install, considering what else I should do "while in there"... i think common thought is that motor mounts should be fresh, and since i have at least 75K on mine I'm going to do them... anyone running 034 mounts? impressions? they're about the same price as stock generic (who knows what) and less than half of dealer price.
Also, if the exhaust is going to be out, should I consider doing the driveshaft CVs? I have an oscillating vibration that I believe may be a result of the front driveshaft cv, although it could be in the rear diff, not sure. I guess this is one way to possibly rule it out. Lastly, what hardware should be replaced? Necessary to replace nuts securing dp to wastegate and turbo?
what else? exhaust hangers? I could count but does anyone know off hand how many?
TIA..
