[s-cars] UrS4 shocks - Part numbers

Being gas charged, I'm sure they do have an effect on ride height....and the reason for the difference in the overall length of the strut....of course you know.....to go with springs that are longer or shorter, which is what one "relies" on to determine ride height, yes?
I mean, you don't buy a set of "lowering struts." You buy "lowering (sport) springs" and pair a set of struts to those springs.

But the Bilstein HD/Sport shocks and struts do determine ride height! The only difference between the S car application Bilstein HD and Sport, is the overall length of the strut. The dampening and rebound of both are identical.

If you're using HDs you probably want to swap back to stock springs. I wouldn't
rely on struts/shocks to determine ride height.

Thanks Scott,
Think I'm after HDs, as the primary goal of this exercise is to raise
the car again. Current springs are too low.
So if I have this straight, HDs would be better suited.
But at this stage, any info gratefully received!
Cheers
