I believe I bought the metro harness from installer.com for my 95.5. I have a 5 year old Alpine that slide into the factory slot fine, using the Alpine's half cage with the tabs that bend.
I hooked the new harness' rca's to the Alpine's pre outs, and later added ground loop isolators to fix the popping from the factory amps. At www.partsexpress.com, I bought some face-plate blank sheets to custom make a face plate which I attached using small wood blocks and screws angled in from the deck opening to space it out flush with the rest of the panel.
All is good using the factory Bose speakers and amps, and eventually built a dub for the trunk.
