[s-cars] Hydraulic fan clutch

So finally go around to swapping out that electric fan that the PO  
installed when he removed the OE setup. And discovered why and how:
he ground down the shaft which installs in the ac compressor/ alt  
mount bracket. The bearing is wasted.

I recall a recent thread on this: what was the end result? That  
bearing is blind, was replacement not an option? Whole new assembly?
