BTW, you probably need a probe pyrometer in order to get accurate temps
across the tread- an IR contactless pyrometer will get you instant surface
readings but you'd need to get that coming right across the finish line
practically- your tires will cool down too much otherwise.

One other piece of advice- chalk your tires- you can get a gauge on how much
rollover you're getting by doing so and adjust pressures that way as well.
