[s-cars] R compound tire pressures?

Me thinks many here are responding for HPDE's rather than Lee's request for
Auto-X.

Not saying pyrometers are useless in Auto-X, but it's very hard to be as
consistent, since tire temps don't get nearly as hot and they cool off very
quickly vs. a set of track day laps. So, with tire temps, I was able to
determine that I needed (or didn't, depends upon conditions) more negative
camber, but I couldn't determine pressure front/rear balance using a
pyrometer. Also, even on our longer (50 second or so) courses, I generally
only see a temp gain of 2 - 3 psi after a run. What I (and most experienced
members in our region) do is set cold temps on first run, and then let out
air appropriately on subsequent runs to start out with the same pressures as
cold at the beginning of each run.
