[s-cars] Searching S6's, what specifics to look for?

Sorry, i just got home and leave for an international trip in the am.
When you say S6 avant, do you mean C4 or C5?
I cant say for C4. C5 is basically durable, but Timing Belt service is VERY costly ( abut every 75k); control arms and TREs need replacing every 60-90k, balancing is stupid-fussy. That's about it.
