Hi Y'all,

Seeking verification.  My RS2ed urS6 has taken up smoking a bit of 
grayish white smoke at initial startup in the morning (or whenever) 
which quits after a few seconds.  There has been no significant oil 
consumption.  Other than a puff or two of smoke there seems to be 
nothing else wrong.  The car runs like a scalded cheetah.

I'm suspecting a leaking valve guide somewhere, perhaps toward the 
front of the engine since the smoking appears marginally increased 
after the car has been parked a while in a nose down attitude.

Is my diagnosis a reasonable one?  What is the cure?  Replace the 
guides?  How bad a job is that?
