Yeah me too - I flew home and while in the air suddenly 68 emails in the
S-list box.  What the hell is all this Georgia crap, thinks I?

I too had lost track of that car on the interwebz, can't believe he's still
pursuing it but obviously the immaculate 'exactly as it left the factory'
ethos is still in place. Just crazy amazing.

An endeavor like this is more akin to performance art or some meditative
spiritual activity to which no economic analysis can be applied.

(I still want to know what the bottom line spend was once he's done... if
that day ever comes...)

Myself I'd have succumbed to a few shortcuts to get it into a runner much
sooner, sacrificing perfection about 100 times for a shortcut here and
there... but I admire when others can do what I'd not be able to.
