I'll ditto that. My DDM 35W kit definitely draws less current (once fired of
course) than the OEM lights, appears to run cooler (although haven't
actually measured) and is WAAAYYYY brighter, especially w/ E-code lenses,
than the OEM lamps. I can't imagine 55W in the low beam spot, I suspect it
would be blindingly bright to on-comers, perhaps requiring me to aim further
down. I in no way feel the extra light could possibly be necessary. The
OEM high beams are so good (again especially w/ E-codes) that I don't feel
the need for Xenons there at all either but I will admit the lamp temp
difference can be a bit annoying sometimes.

Overally the cheap DDM kit combined w/ lenses was just a crazy win win that
takes the car from having the crappiest lights to having excellent ones at a
cheap price. My BMW's OEM Xenons are marginally better but just barely and
I think mainly because the autoleveling is bitchinly cool.

OEM fogs are the only crappy thing left.. I kinda would like to have
aftermarkets down in the grill if they didn't look so cheezy...
