[s-cars] help w/ the 'real deal' on cross-rotating tires?

Personally, particularly with block tread tires (which will feather) I will
try cross rotation (or the bring the rear wheels forward, then cross the
former fronts) whenever possible. Fortunately directional tires seem to not
suffer too much from feathering, at least the way I drive which is to
apparently wear them down so fast that rotation seems unnecessary (i.e. they
wear out so fast that they never make it to a rotation interval between the
seasonal changeover).
