I think that the Porsche center bearing support requires that an adapter be made to hang it on the S4 body. It is not a direct replacement.

Martin,
unless the Cv joints are worn the normal fix is to removed the dried out grease and re-grease the joints.
Otherwise you can purchase replacement joints, if I recall others have used porsche CV's.
If your joints are worn and you do not want to repair your driveshaft I do have a couple used ones.
