Ha-ha yeah BTDT on the 200TQA fresh air flap. Discovered the problem on a
road trip to VT and the underhood flap ended up propped open by a
half-crushed beer can for some time. Nuffing like roadside ingenuity.

Anyway, have you pulled the CC head codes? They're pretty reliable in
telling you if you have a flap or servo problem, which definitely happens.
I've done the servo-motor-brush-cleaning routine that's out on the web in a
couple places, you can definitely re-habilitate them successfully if they're
acting up...
