[s-cars] Symphony I radio in a B4 Passat (2001.5)?

I have a line on cheap Symphony I head units and wondered if one can use one
in a one for one swap
in the aforementioned Passat. Current head unit is a single DIN, non-CD
Monsoon, although there is
a DIN box in the lower slot. It's Mom's car, and her Monsoon has got a
flaky display and controls (gee,
sound familiar?). I'm hoping the harness would be the same, and somehow I'm
pretty sure she'd get
past the red display vs. blue and would appreciate the CD slot.
