Illinois DMV no longer accepts federal reserve notes FRN's.... aka dollars.
What up with that?  (Insert Goldman Sachs joke here.)
BUTT I was able to get new plates for the neu to my wife '07 S6...but, as
this here Audi sits, they still have the same old dumb and stupid license
plate fasteners on the rear deck.
Ahh !   The art of engineered to fail.
Maybe I'll just duct tape em on der huh?
