Actually a common enough occurrence that the newer weather boots for MFTS
plugs have a drain hole already molded into the bottom (as most of these
seem to be mounted in an inverted manner).

On my 200, when the MFTS started to leak, I simply opened up (actually,
since it disintegrated, removed) the boot. That extended the time to total
failure until the actually air temperature was a bit more friendly (why do
coolant system problems aways seem to happen in the winter?) since it the
"shorting" situation was averted by letting the sensor simply drain.
