I did that with the front plate on the avant, but it fell off one 100F day
in San Antonio...luckily as it sat in a motel parking lot, so I didn't lose
it.

I actually was afraid to bite on this one, thought Taka might be joking
about velcro,
but I've velcroed my rear license plate on my UrS and its been perfect for 
two and a half years, I use it like Red Green uses duct tape.....

Second that.  Wal-mart velcro has held my rear plate on for about three 
years.  Tried to take it off once and bent it soundly.
