True that a lot of B5 S4s are beat on, but if they're done right, they're
actually better modified than stock- I'd rather have an AWE Stage III with
K04s, manifolds, downpipes and exhaust than a stock 2.7T. But I'd want one
that was done by a known shop with all receipts.
Excess bling and stupid suspension setups are bad, I agree.
But I do hear you on the mods- I got decent money for my STi because it was
basically stock.
