Hey Bill,
Glad to see the pigs a flyin and not an ebay disaster. My Cayenne TT seems to have a similar issue but here is what I notice: It always starts in second gear from a standstill. Kinda sluggish, especially if you nail throttle after just starting off. I can tip it down into 1st for those rocket launches though. Manual mode will hold shifts to redline and automatically shift. A nice launch technique I like. Your car may do the same.
Course if your breaking traction a bit at launch, the traction control kicks in and almost shuts you down. Me not likey.
