Thank you for all the replies, guys.  Once I got the tire off, it looks like there was some sort of minor impact, not recent, maybe sometime in the past that just stressed it enough that it just finally gave out.  Barely perceptible, but a slight kink in the bead area.

Looks like many people have had these wheels repaired.....what did it cost you?  I can get another wheel from Chris Semple for about $150.....

Another question......for those that had these refinished.....what did that cost you?  This winter has been really hard on these wheels......
