Dats always my favorite line from (usually scamming) eBay sellers:
"used to work great... until recently!"
yeah so did everything else that is broken, few things intentionally come
from the factory broken.
(this rule does not apply to Fiats or many 80's Americun cars by the way...)

reminds me of old sayings like "you always get hurt on the last ski run of
the day".

um, duh, yeah, cause normally you don't get much skiing in after your knee
twists 90 degrees and folds up backwards into your face.
