First, the Sir Tools instructions specifically prohibit using an impact gun on their kit. I've seen the wear and damage that can happen if you don't heed that advice. I have used this kit on UrS bearings with 100% success, but it can be difficult to remove the old bearing. I've found that the best results are obtained by tightening up the bolt/nut to a reasonable level (don't overdo it), then tap the bearing carrier once with a hammer or small sledge. The shock from the hammer blow will usually cause the bearing move a bit. Retorque the bolt, tap again... etc. Eventually the bearing will have walked far enough out that the tool will start pulling it out by just turning the bolt. I've never had problems on the install. I always freeze the new bearing and ensure it slides in straight.
