You get a hearty "AMEN!" from this corner, Mike, but you are
preaching to the choir in this region. My ustabe 30 mile one way
commute through the two lane twisties across the face of Gauley
Mountain in southern WV was a blast twice a day. A 900 foot drop on
one side and cliffs above the road on the other side made an
interesting drive. The road tends to scare the flatlanders but I had
a ball on the way to/from work. I kinda miss the commute even after
13 years of retirement. I guess that's OK, though, since there are a
lot of other nice twisties in the region for a fun road romp any time
I want it nowadays.
