You could always unplug the N75 and just let it run on the wastegate spring.  That would dial it back to ~6psi.
You'd have to keep it a secret though because it would be really easy for him to re-tune it.

Subject: [s-cars] ECU swap

My son Jack's getting my now nearly resurrected 95.5 sedan as his daily
driver.   I want to de-tune it by swapping out the  chipped/3-bar sensor
equipped ECU currently in the car for a stock one.  Any complications in
simply swapping ECUs?
