I have read in the forums about how you should not mix G11 and G12 coolants
in our S6's and I was hoping that someone could give me some insight into
the timeframe of when mixing coolants before I could run into a problem. I
just fixed that small coolant hose which runs under the after run switch to
the banjo fitting on the turbo (by the way it is almost close to impossible
to replace that hose), but while it had leaked I was forced to fill in those
50/50 premixed antifreeze coolants from a gas station and now my car is a
mixture of whatever coolant was previously in there and this mixture. I plan
on having the coolant system flushed out in the near future but is this
something I should do immediately or the concerns of corrosion which people
have mentioned take some time to occur? Thanks.
