I would think "thrumming" in the pedal is more likely caused by a bad
throw-out bearing or broken fingers on the pressure plate. Since the clutch
won't release, I'd go with the broken fingers. Unfortunately that is a more
difficult fix than the clutch master.

My clutch won't unclutchify.  Pedal goes down all the way, returns all 
the way.  Effort is a little lighter than usual.  Won't release the 
clutch and I can't get into gear from a stop.  Thrumming in the pedal.  
No thrumming or any other abnormalities with the brakes.  That's 
consistent with a clutch master, right?  Just want to double-check 
before I order one.
