 Tri-Flow is good for cylinders not exposed to the elements IME/O.  I prefer spray white lithium grease for automotive applications.  Either will do the job better than ANY other lubricant, and Tri-Flow or WLG is used by the overwhelming majority of all lock-doctors.

Tri-Flow is recommended for key cylinders.  It is what we use when building

our keying systems.
