[s-cars] Red light traffic in Illinois

Yeah, everyone is in a big hurry, and they still have periods during
the day where traffic is not so heavy that it slows everything down.
The suburban communities on the SW side in Kansas is where the big
growth is gobbling up farm land like crazy. It's all chopped up into
smaller municipalities so traffic enforcement is nil, until a new
subdivision of moms with kids gets organized and demands traffic
enforcement. Otherwise, the Dodge City mentality prevails
as the drivers try to keep that speedy commute to work that helped
make the lower house prices, low taxes and new schools away from the
problems of K. C. MO inner city schools so attractive and seemingly
affordable . Of course, even though freeway and beltway building is
cheap and easy compared to established areas, they can never make them
big enough. They will have to deal with transit issues soon even if
they don't have a Big Dig.

The S6 has made some speedy trips across the KS plains, helping to
combat the boredom. Running from tornados and hailstorms provides the
only excitement.
