[s-cars] Keyless entry remote replacement

Hey all,
So on my 95.5, the little remote control that hangs on the keychain and unlocks/locks the doors has suddenly stopped working. 
I've replaced the batteries, and followed both recoding sequences from the manual.  Me thinks the remote itself has died, as the lock system still functions normally using the key itself.
Are these things obtainable?
Btw, this is a 95.5 which doesn't use the infrared remote.
