I'd go with Brian- Toyo RA-1 for longevity and decent balance of grip as
opposed to the older Kumhos.

Otherwise, look at Nitto NT-01, Toyo R888. Maybe even Yokohama A048 for more
durability, less grip.

I didn't think you wanted to hear about Hoosier R6, Pirelli Corsa or
Michelin PSC.

I love my RE-11, but don't know how they would perform on a heavy car like
the A4 with small tires. They hold up to track driving on a Porsche or a
Corvette unless you're fast, then they have the same problem that all street
tires have on the track- overheat easily and then chunk like crazy, which is
why you buy dedicated track tires. If you're running street tires on the
track, shave them down to 2/32.
