[s-cars] Steering rack - slight grittiness

Mark,

when my rack felt "weird" I flushed the hydraulic system and was surprised what junk came out.
I plan on flushing and replacing my fluid with redline power steering fluid, I hear it works wonders.

Gents,

Looking for a BTDT.  If I drive my S6 for 45 minutes plus, generally on the highway, I feel through the steering wheel what appears to be a slight gritty feeling.  Is this a precursor to the rack going out?  The victim has 160K miles and leaks no fluid.
