Wow, that sucks. I guess the stories I've heard about 034 are true- buyer
beware.

Although 3 years is a really long time- I had a similar issue with a vendor
where they sold me the wrong part, but I didn't know about it for 18 months
(never installed it and I can't tell the difference just by looking at it-
box wasn't labeled wrong or anything). I kind of strong-armed the vendor
into giving me a small concession, but at least the part was workable.

I'd be really pissed if the part was simply faulty.
