[s-cars] H&R rear failure.. rear end overhaul & 2 questions

Hi List,

H&R has already warrantied my front sport springs ('95 S6) both
fronts cracked over a year ago and they sent me replacements with very
little effort. However displeased I was with the situation, their warranty
service was great.

Now, im looking at my rear driver side spring failing. last coil hitting the
bottom perch is collapsing in the sheathing. Dont remember hearing of a rear
H&R failure, only fronts.

so for whatever its worth mentioning,,, heads up..  when I have more time I
will look into finding a site to host some picture uploads as I rebiuld my
rear-end.

complete factory (93) sway ready rear is leaving my shed to prep to be be
powder coated, diff seals ordered and hardware too for all mounting points,
control arm/rear sub bushings. diff mount,etc are on the to order list..
sigh..  I dont want to do it for many more years once its all done.

Does anyone have a part number for the factory rear diff fluid?  unless
someones swears by a redline or amsoil alternative, im satisfied with whats
worked for a dacade plus..

Is there a factory HD option for any of the rear bushings anywhere?
