There's some helpful information for the A6/S6 that you're overlooking.
The part you posted (4A0 853 951 A) has a color code of "GRU primed", making
the full part number 4A0 853 951 A GRU, whereas the part for the bottom of
the door is 4A0 853 959 with color code 01C, satin black.
That's a pretty clear indication that the 4A0 853 951 A GRU is the mid-door
trim, and the 4A0 853 959 O1C is the lower door trim since the A6/S6 have
body color mid-door trims.
