I usually stick with TRW (Moog, Federal Mogul) or Lemforder for suspension items. Febi has also been decent. You pay more, but I think it's generally worth it. I don't buy any other brand unless I have to, and no Meyle no matter what.

I've been looking up some front end parts prices and they're all over the
place. For some examples I looked at Blauparts and two different Worldpac
suppliers. Front control arm bushings range from $22 to $50. A pair of
tierods goes from $120 to $228. Two tierod ends run from $22 to $71. With
Blau the brand usually isn't stated. With Worldpac, there are generally two
brands to choose from.
I've heard a lot of horror stories about junk parts, many with German brands
on them. How do you tell the difference between a good deal and a pile of
junk?
